Lisa Alma – Tuesday
A lovely dream-pop song and a sick video from a Copenhagen songstress Lisa Alma
The Copenhagen songstress Lisa Alma released a new single, called “Tuesday”. The song is written to her girlfriend, a soul mate with whom they were inseparable and on an evil Tuesday afternoon they split up.
At first sight being a depressive and a melancholic song it still has certain mellowness, peacefulness and is as lovely as a girlish dream.
The sort of home-made video conveys pretty much uneasy repeating moves and crouches done by Alma herself wanting to stress that all the-going-around has something to say. With the different moves Lisa wants to show the role of repetition and the fascination how people construct their identity through it.
The tense drum beats and soul claps perfectly transfer all the feelings and experiences the songstress has when sharing blood with her soul mate. Though sad she never loses her cool and with the video tries to ignore the law of gravity assuring that love itself is gravity
The artist takes architecture to a new level – literally, with his mind-bending series of flying houses.
