Aera – Cambio Music Video
Merging German krautrock, ethnic percussion and UK bass, Aera comes up with new music video for “Cambio”
While traveling around the world, Berlin-based producer and a skilled traveler Aera comes up with a new video for his song “Cambio”.
Drawing upon influences as diverse as German krautrock, Detroit machine funk, South American ethnic percussion and UK bass music, Aera is matching raw noises with bouncing beats, playing with deep sounds of distant percussion. The video was shot during his stay in Ayacucho, Peru, where he was living for three months.
The rich sounds of “Cambio” make for a perfect accompaniment to the video that is an excerpt footage from Navina Khatib’s recent documentary Casa Luz, which draws a picture of the cultural and political situation of Ayacucho. The video showcases the annual Cumbia dance contest. You can find “Cambio” on his recently released Offseason Traveler LP.
The artist takes architecture to a new level – literally, with his mind-bending series of flying houses.
