Typography Posters with Quotes
Compilation of awesome posters with interesting usage of typography.
Here is a compilation of some awesome posters with interesting usage of typography.
Some reflect social problems and issues effecting the world today, such as ecological pollution and the Israeli–Palestinian conflict, others are motivating and some of them are just cool.
One of the most inspiring ones is “The Future Belongs To Those Of Us, Still Willing To Get Our Hands Dirty”. It’s an interactive poster designed by Roland Tiangco. The back the poster is covered in ink, and whilst you unfold it, your hands inescapably get covered in ink. Then you are left with the text that says: “The future belongs to those of us still willing to get our hands dirty.”
The poster is the only example of physical interactivity, where the person actually gets his hands dirty in author’s inline with the author’s idea.
Roland Tiangco is a visual artist from Brooklyn. His portfolio also contains the so-called ‘Life:size – Book no.1′, a book that represents it’s content in 1:1 scale image.
Here is also a poster from Mark and Paddy’s ‘Sharp Suits’ collection. They’ve turned the annoying feedback that graphic designers get from their customers into posters that obviously show just how ridiculous the feedbacks is.
