Tropics has definitely a fancy ear for capturing beauty through the mastery of instruments and his soulful voice.

Electronic pop magician Tropics has definitely a fancy ear for capturing beauty through the mastery of instruments and his soulful voice. Now he’s back again, with a premiere of his catchy new EP Popup Cinema on the Serbian/London-based Svetlana Industries label, known for their eclectic chillwave ventures.

The artist, previously known as a dizzy beatmaker, comes up now with an apparently way more sweeter electronic pop, with a beat so hypnotizing that you wouldn’t even know just how long the EP’s been running. Chris Ward, the 24-year-old London producer, who started his career collaborating with a famous labels like Planet Mu, has created four opulent gems, sparkling with dream-pop melodies, covered up with synth layers and clear, soft vocals. The EP is a sensual blend of electronic beats, smooth soulful vocals, that float between soft claps, echoing percussion, organ tones, with the sound of dripping water on the background.

The EP features three new synth-electro-pop songs + one remix done by  by fellow Londoner Kelpe (a.k.a. Kel McKeown). Popup Cinema is released November 5, 2012. You can stream the heart melting tracks below
