Not Giving In – A Reckless by Rudimental

21 Nov 2012

An amazing audiovisual experience, performed by London’s best tunesmiths.

The fusion of drum and bass with electric, dance and soul is something the East London quartet Rudimental are best at.

They recently unveiled the video for the upcoming, Not Giving In EP; with a self-produced soulful beat that concludes the song. Not Giving In brings in John Newman and Alex Clare vocals.

The shooting took place in the Philippine capital of Manila and reveals a story of two boys from one of its poverty-stricken shanty towns. It’s the true life-story of the director, Josh Cole‘s close friend and 3-times World Champion B-Boy, Mouse. As the storyline proceeds, we witness two parallel lives – that of the young Mouse (played by B-Boy Allen) and that of an older brother (played by Tugo) – Mouse discovers the dancing sub – culture of Manila, while his brother follows a less fortunate path.

Not Giving In has a kind of a perfect audo background to the cinematic visuals, creating an uplifting vibe, that inspires passionate emotions and mindless dancing. The melody at a spiritual level, is a mix of live instruments, beats and soulful voices, brining a spirit of hope with the soaring vocals of two soundmasters, John Newman and Alex Clare.

Not Giving In EP is due for release on 18 November on iTunes
