Wide Eyes by Local Natives

Tickets are selling out fast for the upcoming Local Natives gig, which is being held at Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen, on the 6th of December, in London. The intimate setting promises to be the perfect venue for the young American band, who have been compared to Beach House, Yeasayer and Bombay Bicycle Club.

This gig is part of a handful of European dates, and will be well worth a visit if you’re in the city.

Wide Eyes, the first track from their debut album ‘Gorilla Manor‘, is awash with beautiful guitar riffs and harmonised vocals. You can check out the music video for this track below, which follows a dark, but comical story. You watch a man get chased by a shark around a suburban street, ending with a bloody comic book style fight to the death.

If these guys take your fancy, then your next port of call should be the new Grizzly Bear album, ‘Shields‘. This one is fast becoming one of the most exciting releases of 2012.
