AllSaints Men’s Autumn 2012
Practical is the new perfect. AllSaints shows maturity, utility and style with its Fall men’s collection.
The new men’s lookbook has gathered an altogether more elegant and luxurious feel with thick, black leather, perfectly stitched denim and heavy knits playing a general role. The new collection has a noticeably cleaner finish, blending smart tailoring with rugged casualwear that creates a sophisticated wardrobe, which differs from previous collections. Strong silhouettes, comfortable fabrics and an obvious attention to the detail shows that AllSaints is ready to be taken seriously in the menswear arena.
Blueish earth tones, browns and mustard are quite dominant in everything from t-shirts to shoes. Allsaints’ union with leathers is again apparent, as evidenced by biker and bomber jackets, that have been brought to the forefront of seasonal fashion. And if leather is not your thing, maybe a well cut denim jacket or a camouflage winter shirt will fit the bill.
The new lookbook presents a more mature and masculine style with a strong, edgy fashion statement, showing that the brand is leaning toward a more serious, yet comfortable look. “It’s all about British Heritage, it’s authentic yet modern and inspired by everything from music to jockey’s outfits, which is really exciting.”
