Blue Velvet, the 1963 song, is back on showcase recently, as it’s referred by H&M in it’s ad campaign.

Blue Velvet, the song popularised by Bobby Vinton in 1963, is back on its showcase recently, and the reason of it’s comeback is H&M’s ad campaign, featuring Lana Del Rey out from September 20.

The short L.A. noir-inspired-film bring you to 50s-style movie, where she’s singing, being hypnotised by a pocket watch and seductively standing in an old telephone box. One cannot just not notice the similarity with David Lynch’s iconic film Blue Velvet from 1986.

Judging by this teaser, we can expect more peach-colored pants, angora sweaters, and printed leggings this season. Also on display: scary-looking brown wigs and a little person dressed in a suit.
